Hunting At Milford Lodge...
Milford Lodge offers over 3000 acres of prime hunting territory.
Two different farms are available both are privately owned and cropped
each year. The fields are often planted in corn and soy beans
providing an excellent food source for the wild life. The unique
mix of fields, woods, and water provide just right amount of habitat to
support large deer and turkey populations. During the winter
months the bodies of water provide a rest stop for migrating birds.
The farm surrounding the lodge is bordered by the Ohio river in the
North and Deer creek in the West. Just South of the Ohio River
lies Barnett lake. Barnett Lake provides and excellent water hole
for ducks and geese and in the summer months yields large amounts of
catfish and crappie. Click on the links to the left to explore

A
little about the Lodge....
The town of Milford
sat on
the border of Crittenden and Livingston Counties but was destroyed in the flood
of 1937. Several years after the flood the house was moved to it's present
location atop a new basement foundation. The lodge was remodeled in 2003 with hunters in mind.
During most days deer and turkey can be scene feeding in the fields
and wood lines surrounding the lodge. A mud room
exists to keep your living area clean and comfortable. A full kitchen and
an outside bar-b-q pit exists for the chefs in the group and meals can be
delivered if needed.
Game Feeding at Milford Lodge....
The owners of Milford Lodge pride themselves on
the fact that hunters will have to "hunt" when they come here. You will not come
to our hunting areas and shoot anything as it comes to a feeder. After all hunters
pay to hunt.
Food plots do exists to keep the game near by but the deer
and turkey here are wild and will not hang around if spooked. Too many
hunting lodges practically stage the hunts, this will not happen here at Milford
Lodge, you and your guide will be required to hunt. Our guides would have
it no other way!
